Etonic® extends new golf shoe technology with Dri-Lite® 300 Dual

The ETONIC Golf Division of Spalding Sports Worldwide is introducing the industry's first dual slip on saddle, the DRI-LITE 300 DUAL, offered with or without laces, to bolster its already popular DRI-LITE 300 series in 2003. Etonic is also capitalizing on the success of a full product line with shoes at each of the key retail price points by incorporating the 100, 200, and 300 series into its women's shoe line.

"Better consumer value and simplicity have brought us success, so we're excited to build upon that approach in a simplified product line for 2003," said Danielle Sandridge, category manager of Etonic. "Our message to consumers is concise within of each of the five models, ranging from the top-of-the-line DRI-LITE® AC® 500, ETONIC's most comfortable and breathable shoe, to the opening price point LITES™ 100."

The Etonic 2003 men's lineup includes:

DRI-LITE AC 500- Etonic's flagship shoe incorporates a unique technology called eVent® membrane, which allows the shoe to breathe while providing the golfer with a lightweight, cool and comfortable, dry golf shoe. Event membrane is up to 200% more breathable than other membranes and is 100% waterproof. Stabilite™ Footbed technology features reinforced EVA with an EnrGel™ insert in the heel over a Shocksorb™ insert in the midsole. The Stabilite system stabilizes the heel, absorbs the shock from foot-to-ground contact, and returns energy to your step for a more comfortable shoe round after round. The Stabilizer dual density outsole provides stability and increased flexibility by varying the density of the sole. More stability in the heel and more flexibility in the forefoot make for maximum comfort and lightweight traction. Suggested Retail: $150.00

· New DRI-LITE® 400 - A classic-styled shoe crafted from waterproof breathable full grain leather and a Dri-Tech membrane to keep your feet cool and dry. Etonic's Stablilite Footbed system features reinforced EVA with an EnrGel insert in the heel over a Shocksorb insert in the midsole. The Dual Density Flex System™ sole utilizes varying density of materials and a slotted flex design to increase flexibility and aid weight transfer. · New DRI-LITE® 300 DUAL - The industry's first dual offering combines the comfort and convenience of a slip-on shoe with a laced-up look. Strobel construction produces a slip-on shoe that is flexible and comfortably holds the foot. Hidden lace loops are provided for golfers who prefer the laced shoe look. The shoe combines an Etonic exclusive Watertight™ system, along with a Bio-Cushion™ insole, to provide support and softer cushioning based on the anatomical design of your feet.
