ASD selects distribution partner for PEAKED(TM) Shafts

Advanced Shaft Dynamics, Ltd. announced that the company has chosen longtime golf shaft distributor M.L. Wilson Co. to make PEAK PERFORMANCE LOCATED(TM) golf shafts available to clubmakers and retailers in the market. M.L. Wilson Co. is located in Melbourne, Florida and has been distributing golf shafts since 1990. M.L. Wilson will maintain an inventory of shafts from various major golf shaft manufacturers that have already been PEAKED(TM) by ASD and are ready for immediate shipment to the market.

"We have been exploring several options for better meeting retailer and clubmaker demand for PEAKED(TM) shafts, including fulfilling the direct distribution aspect ourselves," said ASD's Talamonti. "Mark Wilson and I were introduced to one another during the Bay Hill Tournament and the more we talked about forming a distribution relationship, the more sense it seemed to make to us both. Mark has a large account base and has all the distribution elements in place.

Working through M.L. Wilson Co. addresses an important segment of the market and will permit us to focus on establishing other business." Talamonti says that ASD will turn its attention toward concluding discussions with major golf equipment manufacturers that involve making PEAKED(TM) shafts available in new pro-line golf equipment from the factory. "We have been working with the major golf equipment companies for some time, said Talamonti. "Strong feedback OEM's have been receiving from their staff players on TOUR has certainly helped to validate our technology to the equipment companies. We are looking forward to moving ahead with one or several of the OEM's in a way that will allow customers to obtain PEAKED(TM) clubs at retail without the need for disassembly and reassembly after their initial product purchase."
