Tiger Woods – Expected Comeback

Tiger Woods is without doubt a world class golf player and has some remarkable achievements to his name in the golfing world. He has been awarded the ‘PGA Player of the Year’ 11 times which is a feat that no other golf player has been able to achieve. In 2011, he started to fall in the golf rankings and dropped down to number 58 but gained his number 1 spot once again in March, 2013. In April 2014, he had a back disk surgery and ever since that injury he has not been able to return to the summit of professional golf.

In September 2015, he had a second back surgery and there is no telling when he is going to return to the game. Even his surgeon and phsyio are not sure about the exact time of his return. Back surgeries are always very painful and the recovery process from such procedures is always a lengthy one too. So, the pain that Tiger must be going through right now is understandable.

His surgeon said that there are no timetables for nerve injuries so we can’t say anything about it.

‘‘I spend most of my time playing video games while sitting on a couch’’, Tiger Woods said.

Some media resources have said that Tiger Woods is planning to have a comeback in 2016 but it depends on his condition and recovery process.

Moreover, Davis Love, the captain of the 2016 US Ryder Cup has offered Tiger Woods to be his assistant and Tiger Woods has also signed up for the job but he said that he is confident to get a spot in the team. All things are connected with Tiger Wood’s recovery but it is true that he will become the assistant of Davis Love in 2016 US Ryder Cup.

Tiger Woods added, ‘’ I am hoping that I can recover fully and want to compete with these players’’.
