New products introduced at January 2004 PGA Merchandise Show

Reporting on the hundreds of golf-related products introduced at the recent PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, The PGA Tour.Com/ Golfweb website selected a dozen products as worth noting.

GolfWeb Equipment Correspondent, Chuck Stogel, listed PowerBilt TPS 8.0 Irons number 4 on his list of 12.

Mr. Stogel wrote, POWERBILT IRONS -- Not available until April, PowerBilt previewed its new TPS 8.0 irons, which feature composite material in the upper portion of the cavity. With a thin face, the irons have an undercut cavity back and strong lofts.

According to Cheryl Fink, PowerBilt Director of Marketing, We hope to get a buzz going for our new irons, and making Chuck Stogel’s list definitely helps. We’re also planning a special promotion on our own web site, details will be announced in mid February. Also see: golf equipment reviews.
