Ed Armentrout Named General Manager and Head PGA Golf Professional

The City of Buena Vista, Virginia announced the appointment of Ed Armentrout as the General Manager and Head PGA Golf Professional for the soon to open Vista Links Golf Course. Armentrout will oversee the day to day operations of the course to ensure an exceptional golf experience for the area golfers.

With over 14 years of experience in the golf industry, Armentrout was most recently the Director of Golf at Lexington Golf and Country Club in Lexington, Virginia. Prior to Lexington, Armentrout began his golf career at Wintergreen Resort.

In addition to his experience in golf operations, Armentrout has a wealth of golf instructional experience in private lessons, clinics, and camps for golfers of all ages and playing ability. Armentrout has also competed on a variety of mini-tours.

We are excited to have Ed part of the Buena Vista team. We are fortunate to have hired the right person to build The Vista Links into a quality municipal golf course that is unparalleled in the area. Under his capable leadership, The Vista Links will be a first rate golf operation with a wonderful course layout, extraordinary course conditioning and excellent customer service, commented Scott Dadson, city manager for Buena Vista.

I am delighted to have the opportunity to open such a fantastic golf facility. Our goal is to provide an outstanding golf experience for our area golfers and I am confident we can achieve this goal.
