Feel Golf Company, announced recently that their new 'Full Release' Grip received USGA conformance

Dr. Lee Miller, CEO of the Feel Golf Company, announced recently that their new 'Full Release' Grip received USGA conformance. This revolutionary new 'Full Release' Grip, with Patent Pending 'Tapered Technology', is the first major equipment design change in over 100 years.

The grip was introduced at the 2004 PGA Merchandise Show and generated an incredible amount of 'buzz' amongst media members and industry insiders. The 'Full Release' Grip, even in its prototype stage at the time, was named 'The Top Discovery of The 2004 PGA Merchandise Show' in the February 7, 2004 issue of Golfweek magazine.

Employing the same logic and principles from other sports, Feel Golf has developed a grip that allows the golfer to fully release the club and attain maximum club head speed. The 'Tapered Technology' design of this grip is thinner in the left hand and thicker in the right hand - similar to the grip of a baseball bat.

The Full Release Grip allows the golfer to more easily hold the club in the fingers of the left hand promoting a correct grip and allowing the golfer to release the club through impact, virtually reducing or even eliminating the dreaded slice that plagues so many of today's golfers.

We were amazed at the huge response we got at The Demo Day from both Tour Players and average golfers, said Miller. We knew the grip worked based upon the months of Research & Development work we did and the ongoing focus group testing, but we expected that people would be less hesitant to pick it up and try it because it was so different from what they were used to.

Not so, everyone was amazed at how quickly they felt comfortable hitting with the grip and how well they were releasing the club through impact. As a matter of fact, many people said that after hitting with it for only a short while, it actually felt more comfortable in their hands than their traditional grip.

The Feel Golf Company has five Patents Pending on the 'Full Release' Grip and is right now completing an infomercial that will begin airing nationally in late March to introduce the new grip to the public. In addition to the infomercial, The Full Release Grips will be available after 4/1/2004 on any of the clubs in Feel Golf's 2004 Product lineup. Also see: leather golf grips.
