July 10, 2004 By: Jan Padderton Mount Snow during the Original Golf School’s 28th annual Spring Dress RehearsalJump-start your game at Mount Snow during the Original Golf School’s 28th annual Spring Dress Rehearsal. These early season sessions will run May 22-23, 25-26 and 27-28. Participants will experience two days of expert golf tutorial for $299, nearly half the price of the regular season school. Each day features a minimum of five hours of Accelerated Golf Method instruction, videotaped swing analysis, unlimited course play and use of practice areas after class, use of clubs, lunch daily and a cocktail party. Founder of The Original Golf School, Jay Morelli, is a Class A Professional Golf Association member, and director of the program. Morelli has been voted 'Teacher of the Year' by the PGA New England Chapter, and is one of the most experienced teaching pros in the country. The success of The Original Golf School is based on its unique combination of on-course instruction, a low student-to-pro ratio, and a staff with more years of combined experience than most schools have been in business. The school's proprietary teaching system, the Accelerated Golf Method emphasizes an individual player's strengths - a more positive approach than focusing on the weaknesses. The Original Golf School offers guests the flexibility of participating in two or three-day programs; accommodations are optional. The Original Golf School offers a variety of clinics and specialty programs, as well, including Nike Junior Camps, stretching clinics, women's golf, etiquette and rules clinics. In addition to the home base at Mount Snow, locations include Crystal River in Florida; Sugarloaf/USA in Maine; and Ocean City in Maryland. New for the 2004 season, Mount Snow has made several service and surface enhancements. Changes include offering drop-off club service, partial paving of the parking lot and an extensive drainage improvement program.
